Our most recent wedding, Isaac & Terri, was featured on African American Brides blog for Wordless Wednesday! Often my clients put so much effort into planning their weddings, all for the celebration of their union together and the enjoyment of their family & friends. It is quite gratifying to learn afterward that their wedding images caught the eye of some of the leading African American wedding publications.
Although we have all been created “in his image”, minorities are under represented in mainstream wedding publications. Therefore, I send a special thank you to African American Brides and Chocolate Brides for doing what you do. Featuring weddings from black wedding photographers, or more specifically black brides or grooms reinforces a positive image within the black / African American community.
