In His Image Photography | Wedding Photographers Raleigh

Some of you are aware that I’ve been working with a contestant for America’s Next Natural Model 2012.  We started working together at Challenge #2, and since then Chassity has won Challenge #2 and Challenge #3.  Last week we photographed for Challenge #5 and Chassity decided to shake things up a little and unleash her inner Fierce!  Well, feedback from the America’s Next Natural Model judges are coming in and Chassity is trending very well to move on to the next Challenge.  The judges feedback thus far:

• “… you mentioned that your goal was to unleash your inner lioness in your photos–I truly believe you achieved that.” – Yardely.
• “My choice for this week’s winner: Chassity.  Your shots were absolutely fierce, which is what you intended.” - Yardely.
• “I chose Chassity as my first choice because I feel that she really brought out fierce in her photos. She looked like a businesswoman, large and in charge. Her outfit was classy as was her makeup and her hair. I can easily see her photos in a high fashion magazine or on a billboard!” – LeAnne.
• “You’re right, being “FIERCE” is a choice and you did it well! You look brilliant in basic black. Love the hair/makeup and simple accessories. The body movements/poses were relaxed and natural. The facial expressions were great in every photo. The first 2 photos screamed fierce with a capital “F”.  What can I say… as a reader, I would want to be this girl. Gorgeous.” – Latrenia.
• “If those shots don’t say “fierce”, I don’t know what does. Love the dress, hair, poses. Fantastic job!” – Kcurly.

America’s Next Natural Model: Chassity | Fierce!

Some might say for me it all started with a simple phone call.  Chassity had been selected as a finalist for America’s Next Natural Model 2012.  This is the 4th annual internet pageant celebrating “the beauty and versatility of African hair.”  Chassity was in need of a photographer to help her with this weeks challenge.  When I took the call, something told me to listen.  I’m glad I did.  You see, my wife Romenna has also gone natural, three years ago.  She’s embraced her natural and looks gorgeous!  I was excited for Romenna & Chassity to meet.  Two champions for the cause.
